Camping!!

We went camping over the weekend.  I was a little hesitant to go at first, even though I love camping, because it was going to be chillier at night and Jane is young.  It was great though!

Katelynn absolutely loved it.  She was excited the whole time we were there.  She may have gotten a few bruises, but that is nothing new.  We went to Pinewood Reservoir, which is about 30 minutes away from where we live.  It was beautiful up there.  We love living so close to Mountains!

Jane did really well.  She was well bundled and helped to keep me warm.  Katelynn went exploring everywhere and loved running down the hills.  She also loved playing in the dirt.  We can’t wait till next summer, when we will go camping even more.

Jane is starting to get more interactive. Here are some of her first smiles!  She is so big already. At her two month check up she weighed 11 pounds and was 23 inches long.  It is fun to see the differences between Jane and Katelynn.  These two little girls bring lots of smiles to our faces.

Jane’s Blessing

We blessed Jane this last Sunday.  We were lucky enough the have both of our parents here.  Benjamin and Shanna came too.

Jane did really well and didn’t cry at all.  Katelynn didn’t cry either, which I was more worried about.  Kevin did a great job and gave a good blessing.  It was so nice to have family come and support us. We love our precious new little daughter.

We took Kevin’s parents up to Rocky Mountain National Park.  We had a lot of fun exploring the park and enjoying the beautiful day.

Katelynn had a lot of fun playing in the water!  She thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the water was ice cold.  Jane enjoyed herself too!

Katelynn also had fun going to her cousin Bruce’s birthday party.  It was a ninja birthday party, so we dressed for the occasion.  This is her pink frog ninja outfit.  She kept it on a lot longer than I thought she would.  We had fun playing with Bruce and celebrating his birthday.

Sculpture Park

Loveland has a lot of sculptures and art throughout the town.  There are at least two sculpture parks and many more just strewn around.  Many of the electrical boxes have murals painted on them. You can also find giant painted hearts throughout the town.  We decided to go and visit one of the sculpture parks a few weeks ago.

There were many cool sculptures, but we will post a few of our favorites and Katelynn’s favorites.

Katelynn loved the little boy with the puppies.  As soon as she saw it she ran up to it and started to pet the puppies.  She has always liked dogs.

Jane enjoyed all the sculptures too!  Nice and comfortable in her stroller.

Katelynn also decided she likes pushing the stroller around.  That is all she wanted to do towards the end.

Here is my crazy hair girl enjoying a green smoothie.  She loves watching me blend them up and then can’t wait to get some.
