Sisters!

Having sisters is great!  Katelynn and Jane have a lot of fun together.  I love listening to them in the car.  They get a giggle fest going fairly often and it is pretty contagious so sometimes there are three girls giggling in the car! 

And then sometimes it isn’t all giggling, but not too often.  We sure love our two cute little girls! 

We have lots of fun with them.  One of Katelynn’s favorite things to do now is go to the pond right by our condo and look for frogs.  We usually find around ten or so.  She doesn’t ever want to touch them, but wants mommy to touch them.  Some of them make funny sounds when you try and catch them.  We go on walks around the lake by where we live and see all sorts of animals and birds.  Katelynn likes the pelicans and loves the flowers that we see.  Jane is usually taking her morning nap on our walks. 

Jane is getting so big!  She is only a few pounds lighter than Katelynn.  She loves crawling up stairs when she can find them, climbing in cupboards, and is really starting to want our phones and any other electronic she can find.  She is our happy little girl, and we love her!

Katelynn really likes helping in the kitchen, especially when there is flour involved.  She loves the water and loves bubbles!  She brings smiles to our faces everyday and we love her so much. 

Uncle Daniel and Aunt Becca came to visit over Memorial Day weekend.  We had a blast with them.  They got Katelynn to be quiet all of of sacrament meeting!  So we told them they needed to come every week.  We are super excited for them and their new baby, which is on the way!

From Snow to Sun

The end of April and Beginning of May were crazy weather days.  We got tons of snow, then it would get warm then tons of snow.

 

 

Rohan and I built this tall skinny snowman on a snowy day.  We all had fun playing in the snow for the crazy snow storms.  We went sledding, built forts, played fox and geese, and had snowball fights.  Playing in tons of snow is soo much fun.  I think I almost had more fun than the kids. 

 

 

Jane has been showing a lot more personality lately.  I love this face that she makes.  It is so cute and cheesy! 

 

 

Katelynn is always cute!  She sure loves playing with her daddy.

 

 

We love going to the park!  Katelynn gets so excited every time we go.  It’s hard not to go some days, because she loves it soo much.  She says the whole time we are going there, “ a park, a park, a park!!” 

 

This is our favorite park to go to.  It is close to Kevin’s work, so he can come over and play with us for a little while.  It also has a cool dragon and is castle themed.  Katelynn loves the slide and Jane loves swinging!  Katelynn has always been a little funny about going up on the toys.  She used to be petrified of going up on them.  I think because she can see the ground through the floor.  She is better now, but still won’t walk on them.  She crawls to get where ever she wants.  Hopefully by the end of the summer will finally be walking on them.
