Christmas Vacation 2012

We went to Idaho.  It was crazy.  We had fun.

 

We went to Idaho for Christmas this year.  Katelynn had a good time on the drive up to Idaho.  She liked having all the blankets and pillows on her.  She did really good for the 10 hour drive.  Jane did well too.  She slept almost the whole way.  We were grateful for good weather for the drive.   

We got to spend lots of time playing with cousins. Especially the four little girls; Katelynn, Isabel, Claire, and Savitri.  They had a lot of fun together.  Katelynn had fun playing with Grandpa and Grandma too.

She absolutely loved playing in the snow.  Daddy and Jane were tuckered out one morning. 

Aunt Susan helped me with my Christmas Eve Pajamas I  was making.  I had never done pockets before so she was showing me how.  She and Joseph came up with out their families for Daniel’s Wedding.  It was great to spend some time with them. 

I made our Christmas Eve pajamas again this year.  I have a lot of fun doing that, even if I put it off till the last minute.  We had fleece ones this year, which were super warm and comfortable for cold Idaho weather. 

We had a plethora of presents and horses this year.  There were 25 people at my parents house for Christmas morning.  Aunt Jessica made horses for all of the grandkids.  They are some sweet looking horses!

Katelynn eating candy from her stocking for breakfast.  She was a little sick at Christmas, but that didn’t stop here from opening presents and eating candy. 

My favorite present was the one I got in my stocking form “Santa.”  He made me cry on Christmas Morning. 

Jane hung out with Grandma while we were opening presents. 

Kevin liked his magic card and got some yummy sauces to eat.

It was a little crazy with everyone, but was fun to see everyone opening presents. 

Idaho was lots of fun.  We played lots of games, ate lots of left over ice cream from the wedding reception, kept kids busy, and made lots of food.  What more could you ask for than spending time with a great family! 

Before we headed back to Colorado we went to Utah to visit some of Kevin’s siblings.  We had a good time seeing and playing with them for a few days.  Katelynn likes playing with her cousins a lot.

It is great to visit family.  We love you all so much and are blessed to have such great families on both sides! 

Daniel and Becca’s Wedding!

We were able to travel up to Idaho for my brother’s wedding in December. 

It was great to be able to have all of my siblings there and to see everyone.  Daniel and Becca were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on December 20, 2012. 

It was a nice cold day, but beautiful for them. 

We all had fun at the luncheon.  Jane was good and Katelynn had tons of fun running around. 

We kept all the cousins entertained with many different things.  Savitri enjoyed climbing under all the tables.  Claire and Katelynn had a lot of fun playing together, although I think there was more mischief than playing going on. 

Aunt Jessica made the wedding cake and it was awesome!

We had a fun time with everyone and were so glad everyone could come for the wedding.  It is fun seeing our family continue to grow!  We love you all!!

Christmas Time is Here

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go..  Well at least at our house it is. 

We decorated for Christmas a little bit after Thanksgiving.  

The girls had a lot of fun!  Katelynn was super excited to help us.  She couldn’t make up her mind with what she wanted to help with. 

She loved the lights.  She also loves the lights outside on peoples houses.  She oohs and aahs over them whenever we see any.  I love the lights too.  We had lot of fun decorating for Christmas this year.  Now its time to start watching Christmas movies and reading Christmas books!  My favorite movie to watch is “ A Muppets Christmas Carol” and one of my favorite books to read is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”    Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving.  Kevin’s brother and family came to visit us.  It was so good to have them here.  It was also great to have Ben and Shanna close by too. 

We had a super yummy dinner at Benjamin and Shanna’s house.  We enjoyed good food and good company. 

B.J., Katie, and Annika were with us the whole weekend.  Annika and Jane had fun together and Katelynn had fun with two babies around.  We relaxed, enjoyed each others company, and ate some good food.  What more could you ask for?

Kevin and B.J. had a lot of fun catching up while playing the x-box.  They also took care of the girls so Katie and I could go shopping.  What great guys!  We are so thankful that they were able to come and visit us.  We are so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ, and all of the blessings we have been given.
